In September 2013, we welcomed everyone to the academic planning process and asked for submissions. Along the way, links to other academic plans and articles were posted to aid the community in what the possibilites for Capilano could be.
By January 2014, Capilano had received submissions from across campus and the work began for the Academic Planning Advisory Committee. As they worked on creating a first draft, additional articles were circulated to assist in the thinking about our Academic Plan.
The First Draft of Capilano University's Academic Plan was published in February 2014.
The Academic Planning Advisory Committee reviewed comments and suggestions from forums held in February/March and in April 2014, the second draft of Capilano's Academic Plan was posted.
The Third Draft of Capilano's Academic Plan was posted in May/June 2014 ready for the final review.
The Senate's Academic Planning and Program Advisory Committee suggested a few changes to the plan and the Final Draft went to Senate and the Board of Governors for approval in June.
For comments on each draft from the general forums, please see go to the Academic Plan Drafts page.
