        International Admissions Advising

        International Student Admissions Advisors at the Centre for International Experience can guide you through the program options, the application process for international students, outline application and payment timelines and answer your questions. Make an appointment or drop in, our Advisers will be pleased to meet you and help.

        International Admission Advising Hours:

        10:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday

        Drop in appointments may be available on a first come first served basis at the Centre for International Experience (CIE).

        International Admissions

        International students applying to Capilano University need to follow the How to Apply process.

        Copies of documents can be sent to the Centre for International Experience via email (inted@capilanou.ca) to expedite the admission process.

        Conditional offers of admission to certain university programs may be available based on copies and unofficial documents.

        Immigration Liaison Advising

        Capilano University staff cannot represent you or provide you with legal advice, but we can help you navigate the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) (link to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/) website.

        Immigration Liaison Advising Hours:

        Section 91 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that only a bona fide Immigration Consultant (link: http://secure.iccrc-crcic.ca/search-new/en) or a lawyer can provide assistance with your immigration application or proceedings.

        International Student Counselor (Personal, Academic, and Career)

        Capilano U’s International Student Counsellor, Keith Lam, can offer personal, academic and career counseling to students during one-on-one appointments. Keith speaks Cantonese and Mandarin and has first-hand experience studying as an international student in the United States before moving to Canada. Keith holds a PhD in Counselling Psychology.

        Bookstore

        Textbooks are sold in two locations at Capilano U’s North Vancouver campus, the Capilano University Bookstore and the Capilano Students’ Union Both places sell used books, however the Students’ Union will offer a greater discount.
