        Applied Behaviour Analysis – Autism – Post-Baccalaureate Diploma

        The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism is the first of its kind in Western Canada providing students with existing baccalaureate degrees from an accredited university in behaviour analysis or other natural sciences, education, human services, engineering, medicine or a field related to behaviour analysis and approved by the BACB™, the opportunity to obtain an additional credential that will enable them to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other areas of behavior analytic practice. The 2-year program provides the coursework and experiential component to qualify graduates to write the professional certification exam of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board™ (BACB™) and then become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst™ (BCaBA™).

        Please note that the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma program is not eligible for funding through Student Aid BC.

        This Post-Baccalaureate Diploma is available on-line through distance learning to students who meet the following requirements:

        • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree
        • At least 300 hours or ABA/IBI work experience, preferably under the supervision of a BCBA
        • Students MUST provide their own local BCBA who agrees to supervise the 500 hour intensive (unpaid) practicum in the final 2 terms

        Paralegal Certificate Online

        This is a part-time distance education program option designed for students who are presently working in a law office or other legal setting, and who do not live in the Lower Mainland area of Greater Vancouver and are unable to attend evening downtown classes. Students will study substantive law and legal skills courses while gaining their procedural law skills on the job. This online option mirrors the evening Paralegal Certificate (Onsite) option, and also has three intakes per year: September, January, and May.

        Start Earning Your Business Degree Online

        The School of Business now has five, 1st Year Credit Courses available as an Online option for our Business Students. These are required courses providing credits toward your BBA Degree.  They offer flexibility to your academic schedule, allowing time to balance work/life obligations.  As a student enrolled in an online course you are responsible for your course material readings, project submissions and group inter-activities. The Instructors provide their lectures and demonstrations on our Moodle System via videos, and various audio/video methods. You can at your own pace as long as you meet assignment deadlines and all requires course activities.  All instructors provide some method of Student/Instructor direct communications during the term. Your questions and concerns will be addressed within a reasonable amount of time. Not every student is suitable for this learning method, but if you are self-motivated and can work independently these courses are ideal for you.

        You will be required to attend Mid Term and Final Exams on Campus. You will need to check with your instructor and the posted Final Exam Schedules once they are finalized.
