Featured alumni: Sandra-Mae Lux, Jazz Studies

Jazz artist Sandra-Mae Lux released her three-track EP, Moment in the Sun, moments ago. The EP provides an appetizer for her forthcoming full-length album, Happily Ever Now.

Taylor McCarthy, who finished her Communication Studies degree this summer at CapU, is leaving Canada to join the United States Navy, starting boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois last month.

She and shared her unique story of being Black and Indigenous as well as her experiences with racism in Canada in a wide-ranging conversation with the Squamish Chief in June.
