The delivery mode of each course is identified for students when registering for courses. Our Academic Advising staff are available to support students with registration and course selection.

Educational Technology Tools
For courses delivered online, the following tools are supported:
- eLearn (our Learning Management System)
- WebEx (video conferencing)
- Microsoft Teams (video conferencing)
- Kaltura (video creation and streaming)
Students have access to Microsoft Office 365. This platform includes Word, Excel, OneDrive (cloud file storage), Teams, Outlook and more. You can access all of these applications through the Office 365 portal.
Students learning online will need access to a computer, laptop or tablet and reliable Wi-Fi.

Mental Health Supports
CapU offers a variety of supports, services and opportunities to promote student mental health. Visit the University’s Well-being webpage and the Capilano Students’ Union to learn more about how you can maintain positive mental health and the various supports and resources available.
Secure Wi-Fi for Students on Campus
IT Services has added a new secure Wi-Fi Network for students. CapU-Student is live and available at all campuses and locations. It allows students on campus access to University resources on laptops, phones and tablets. Students can connect using their CapilanoU username and password.

Any new student ID cards created this year will be photo-less cards. Your CapCard will be mailed to your home address.
