Accessibility Services

Accessibility Services is available to serve students remotely via phone and email between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday to Friday. Athletics and Recreation

Our Athletics and Recreation staff are supporting students and employees with staying active virtually through a series of recreation challenges and the 2020 Recreation Movement that provides access to online workout classes from 100+ colleges and universities in the comfort of your own home. The Centre for Sports and Wellness on our main campus is currently closed.

Birch Building Cafeteria

Food service options are limited to the Birch Building Cafeteria,  operating Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Austin Grill is serving breakfast and lunch, along with On-the-Go salads, sandwiches, sushi, hot and cold beverages and confectionery. Additionally, vending machines are available with a variety of snack and beverage options.


Bookstore is open to the public 8:15 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.  Textbooks, digital books, clothing and stationery can also be purchased through the online book store. If you need more information, please contact the Bookstore by phone 604-984-4972 or email

Career Development Centre (CDC)

Career Development Centre (CDC) staff members continue to provide resources and information on career development support. Appointments are available online or by phone. Computer labs & printers

Computer labs & printers are available on campus for students without personal access to these resources. A drop-in computer/printer lab is located at the Library Building, room LB317, open 8 a.m.–7 p.m, Monday to Friday; and a drop-in printer lab is available at the Birch Building Cafeteria, Upper Café, open 7:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

Counselling Services

Counselling appointments are offered via telephone and available 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. To make an appointment students can book online, email or call 604 984 1744 (reception available 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday to Friday). Students must be currently residing in B.C. to book an appointment. For initial online booking, students must not request multiple appointments. In the event of urgent situations students can call or email during service hours to access a limited number of daily appointments. Outside of service hours, students can call the 24 hour BC Crisis Centre line 604 872 3311 or Here2Talk, a mental health support service for all students currently registered in a B.C. post-secondary institution. Indigenous Student Services

Indigenous Student Services are available to all self-identifying Indigenous students. Students can access supports via the "Self-Identifying Indigenous Students" group on Microsoft Teams. Individuals can have private chats with our Student Success specialists, review Indigenous-specific resources and reach out to fellow students or students within their programs. IT Services

The Library is open! Fall 2020 hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m.–7 p.m. Physical spaces have been reconfigured to promote individual study and social distancing. While we understand there are many different ways students have used the library spaces in the past, at this time we can only support individual study. If you need help understanding how to "meet" online for group work or study groups, join the Student Digital Ambassadors virtually in Microsoft Teams, Monday to Saturday, 10–8 p.m. The Library’s Research Help Desk is online this term – chat with us to get help with finding resources and much more.

Student Life Hub

Student Life Hub staff are on campus 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday to Friday at the Student Life Hub desk in the Learning Commons. Students can also connect with them on Instagram (@capustudentlife) between 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday to Friday. The Hub team will also be hosting live video chats and challenges for students. Student Rights and Responsibilities

Student Rights and Responsibilities questions are answered by the Student Rights and Responsibilities Advisor 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday to Friday. The Advisor is available to support you with information for a variety of needs. If you have concerns about student conduct, a student in distress, academic misconduct, harassment, bullying or sexual violence, you can access confidential support, information and referrals.
