Meet Greg Hill: skier, climber, electric car evangelist
Greg Hill, one Canada's foremost ski mountaineers, is committed to sustainable adventuring. Since 2017, he has travelled more than 80,000 km around North America in electric vehicles, summiting 99 peaks along the way.
Based in Revelstoke, Greg has hundreds of first descents in his home range, as well as in South America, Norway and Pakistan. In 2010, he climbed and skied two million feet. His vertical pursuits have earned him accolades: National Geographic Magazine recognized him as a "Top Adventurer"; Men's Fitness Magazine grouped him among the "Top 25 fittest guys in the world; and Skiing Magazine dubbed him "Skier of the year".
During his presentation, Greg will share why he's committed to electric adventures and the realities of travelling in electric vehicles. He will explain how it has transformed the way he explores our province, and the surprising and positive changes he has noticed in himself.
Come hear it from the horse's mouth on Wednesday, October 9 at 7 p.m. in the Bosa Centre for Film and Animation.
