Sally Walters (PhD, Simon Fraser University, 1998) is an evolutionary psychologist. She teaches a variety of psychology courses and is a specialist in online education. She is currently Chair of the Psychology department at Capilano University.

As an evolutionary psychologist, I am guided in my teaching by a deep interest in the evolved design of human psychology, and in psychological adaptations. I enjoy teaching introductory psychology in a variety of formats: face-to-face, fully online, and mixed mode.

I am very interested in our interactions with technology and social media, particularly as they relate to young people, and relationships. I have developed and taught a 4th year course on Psychology and the Internet that examines these issues.
