Capilano University is committed to staying up-to-date and connected to our community's educational needs. Kálax-ay, the Sunshine Coast campus of Capilano University, is working with Southcott Strategy and undertaking research and consultation to gain valuable insights regarding the current and future educational needs of Sunshine Coast residents. The campus is cultivating conversations around challenges, opportunities and economic and demographic changes that can have an impact on the campus's future priorities.

Kálax-ay is seeking insights directly from community members to help shape this future through PlaceSpeak, a locally focused online communications platform. Members of the community can share their insights through polls, surveys, discussions and noticeboards.
