Capilano University attracts students from around the world. CapU enrols approximately 11,600 students each year, 8,300 in for-credit programs and 3,300 in non-credit courses.

The University is named after Chief Joe Capilano, an important leader of the Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh) Nation of the Coast Salish people. Our campuses are located on the traditional and ancestral territory of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, Musqueam, Lil’wat and Sechelt (shíshálh) Nations.

At Capilano University, students are supported and challenged. We offer individual attention and personalized learning to enhance their experience. It is our goal to ensure that our students come first – not only at CapU, but in all of their pursuits.
