About the Centre

School of Motion Picture Arts programs are housed at the Bosa Centre, offering several credentials, including the Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts degree, two-year diplomas and one-year certificates.

Inside, there are three large studios, a 180-seat theatre, labs, classrooms as well as sound and picture editing suites, which are all accessible for MOPA students.

Professional equipment at your fingertips

Students can rent professional film gear from our online catalogue, Rental Works. All equipment is professionally maintained by School of Motion Picture Arts staff.

Indigenous students registered in CapU film programs – including Documentary, Animation, Costuming, Indigenous Digital Filmmaking, Motion Picture Arts and VFX – are encouraged to apply for a WarnerMedia award.
