The Early Childhood Care and Education Pathway Program is a partnership with the ECCE program at Capilano University. The program is for highly motivated students who are studying at the EAP 090 and EAP 100/101 levels (the top two levels of the EAP program).

Earn academic credit sooner by getting direct support from highly-skilled instructors.

Some of the main advantages of the EAP/ECCE Pathway are:

    • The Pathway allows you to begin getting credit for an ECCE credential while you are improving your English. Upon successful completion of the Pathway Program, you will have earned 15 credits which can be applied toward your ECCE credential. Each semester is approximately 15 weeks.
    • Two of the ECCE Pathway's courses (EDUC 178 and ENGL 100) are supported by the partner EAP course. This means that while you are taking these courses, your EAP teachers will be closely guiding you and helping you. These courses fulfill requirements for an ECCE credential.
    • Your Pathway instructors communicate with you and with each other throughout the semester to help you succeed.
