June 23 Update from CapU on Strike Action
The bargaining committees met for several hours on June 22, well into the evening. All items in the collective agreement are considered resolved and discussions focused on finalizing the return-to-work protocol document, a standard part of strike negotiations. Several issues remain with the return-to-work protocol and discussions are expected to continue.
The University remains committed to resolving the strike so students can return to classes and have the university experience they deserve.
