Attention: Shipping & Receiving (Arbutus Building)
2055 Purcell Way, North Vancouver, BC
The main loading dock in the Arbutus Building can accommodate most vehicles and is equipped with dock levellers.
Special delivery instructions are detailed in the purchase order.
The purchase order number must be clearly identified on all invoices, bills of lading, express bills and packages. Goods without an authorized purchase order number or proof of payment by University Purchasing Card may be rejected or held pending clarification.
Capilano University reserves the right to receive the goods (i.e., accept a box without knowing what the contents are or the condition of the contents), subject to further inspection. Time constraints may prevent full inspection of all goods at a time of delivery. Where time constraints exist, Shipping & Receiving staff shall receive the goods, making note of any damage to the exterior, with the understanding that the contents have not been examined for quality or quantity. Within a reasonable period of time, Shipping & Receiving staff will open the shipment, examine the contents for damage and make the necessary notations as required.
Two copies of the invoice and a copy of the bill of lading properly certified for customs purposes must be mailed to Capilano University’s designated customs broker for shipments from foreign countries.
Contact Shipping & Receiving for any questions related to the delivery of goods on campus.
