Capilano University is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in research involving human participants. The CapU Research Ethics Board (REB) supports this goal by educating the CapU community and by ensuring that research associated with CapU complies with the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS2, 2018).
This website contains information on CapU’s REB application and review process, as well as resources intended to support researchers. The Research Ethics Officer and REB Chair can also provide project-specific guidance. If you have questions, and/or if you would like the REB to provide an information session (e.g. for your class or program) please do not hesitate to contact the REB at firstname.lastname@example.org.
