The Tourism Management Co-operative Education program at CapU is your gateway to the tourism industry and a great choice to gain practical skills while enhancing your academic abilities.
After completing this two-year diploma, you'll be ready to enter the workforce and make a positive impact directly after graduation.
In the program, you'll learn about core tourism management functions, build connections with industry and job skills on your four-month accredited, supervised co-operative work term.
You'll also have the opportunity to study electives that meet your area of interest, ranging from hotel, adventure, events, eco-tourism and tourism planning.
If you're loving what you're learning, you can continue your tourism studies by laddering your credits into the Bachelor of Tourism Management degree.

Admission Requirements
English language requirements
English is the language of instruction at CapU. All applicants are required to demonstrate competence in the English language prior to admission.
If English is not your first language or you’ve received your education in a language other than English, you must meet our English Language Requirements.

Additional information
The School of Tourism Management welcomes students with previous tourism management, hospitality management or related disciplines to apply for direct entry into the Tourism Management for Co-operative Education Diploma. Direct Entry
Students who have completed 30 credits or a 30-credit tourism management, hospitality management, or related certificate can apply for direct entry into the second year of the Tourism Management Co-operative Education Diploma. Students are to have a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and meet program entry requirements.
