Bio

Christine Jackson (BA, University of British Columbia, 2006) began her career as a paralegal in the commercial litigation department of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in Vancouver after completing her undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia in 2006 and her Paralegal Diploma at Capilano University in 2008.

Jackson then joined the Constitutional and Administrative Law Group of the Legal Services Branch of the Ministry of Attorney General as a Paralegal in 2011, advancing into the role of Senior Paralegal.

In January 2021, Jackson joined the faculty of the School of Legal Studies part-time, and began teaching full-time in January 2022. She teaches in the School of Legal Studies online programs.

The law has always been a passion of mine, and one that I’ve been fortunate to have as a career focus for 15 years now. My primary areas of experience are in general litigation and constitutional law, but I find many other areas of law fascinating as well.

I have worked in both the public and private legal sectors, and at all levels of court. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences with my students to help prepare them for successful careers in the legal industry.
