My approach to teaching has been influenced by my study of the philosophy of dialogue, my involvement in collaborative music making, and my interest and love of people and their stories.
I am interested in the philosophy of dialogue, especially the relational approach to dialogue found in the writings of German philosopher Martin Buber. I continue to explore how this relational dialogue is reflected in musical and educational contexts.
