CapU Orientation is here to help you start strong, feel supported and find community. a fun set of events and workshops before each term.
By attending Orientation events and activities, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Learn where to go for help and how to access academic, well-being and student support services when you need them.
- Understand what to expect in your classes and how learning at university works.
- Meet CapU staff and faculty who are here to teach, support and guide you.
- Explore campus life, athletics, student clubs, social events and more.
- Attend workshops aimed at helping you do well in class and adjust as a student.
- Make connections with other new and returning students.
- Have fun and feel more confident and prepared before your first term at CapU.
Pre-Orientation eLearn module
The Orientation eLearn module, “Start Right Here Pre-Orientation” is a self-paced way to get familiar with CapU before the term begins.
Through this non-credit module, you’ll learn how to navigate campus, where to find academic, well-being and student support services and how to get involved in campus life. You’ll also be introduced to practical tips to support your transition into university.
