After years of touring with a variety of lineups, Tord Gustavsen returned to a trio format for his 2018 album, The Other Side. At arguably the peak of his career, Gustavsen continues to explore other musical settings which enrich his musical vocabulary. His piano trio with Sigurd Hole (bass) and Jarle Vespestad (drums) is the vehicle with which this culmination of wisdom has its most direct and clear expression. Anyone who experienced their previous CapU Jazz Series performance will be treated to a deepening of the trio's work.
