John (he/him) is an experienced leader with over 13 years in higher education administration. John oversees housing and food services management at CapU.

Matt Girard
Manager, Student Housing Services
Matt (he/him) joined the team in the summer of 2023. He has a passion for student development and community engagement and over 10 years of experience in student housing and student affairs.
Matt is responsible for the day-to-day operations of CapU’s housing in North Vancouver, which includes oversite of our facilities, our on-site dining hall and the overall student experience at housing.
Dobrinka Dimitrova
Student Housing Assistant
Dobrinka (she/her/hers) is the first point of contact for the Student Housing department. She is always aiming to help and to provide the right information whether to prospective or current residents.
Outside of work, as a life coach, she has a passion for helping people live their true authentic lives.

Shubhangi Chatterjee is a Residence Life Facilitator with Student Housing Services at Capilano University. The transition to university can be a tough one, and that’s where the Residence Life Facilitators step in.
