November 23—Capilano University and CFA bargaining update
Capilano University and Capilano Faculty Association (CFA) met on Wednesday, November 22.
During this meeting, the CFA presented a response to the University’s settlement offer of November 15.
While several matters remain outstanding, the parties continue to make progress towards a renewal collective agreement, including reaching a tentative agreement on general wage increases in accordance with the Province’s 2022 Shared Recovery Mandate.
Next steps
The next bargaining session is scheduled for Wednesday, December 6, 2023. As the bargaining process continues, we’ll provide updates as needed.
