The Bookstore sells required and recommended texts, used books, stationery, magazines, clothing, gift ware and convenience items.
Order online: Ship to your home or pickup on campus
The Bookstore is open to the public in the Fall term, but access will be limited. Store hours will be 8:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. To maintain physical distancing, we will be limiting the number of people in the store, so lineups may be longer than usual.
If you have questions, please contact the Bookstore by phone 604 984 4972 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Shipping: Orders shipped within Canada & the United States are eligible for shipping. When your order has been processed, you will receive an email alerting you to its delivery, usually within 1-2 business days. Delivery times may take longer during the first week of term, so be sure to order as early as possible.
The Bookstore will not be able to ship textbook orders to overseas locations because of the excessive cost and the long delivery times. Students who need books shipped to an international address could consider using Amazon.com for print books. The Bookstore will provide digital versions of books through our website when available.
Pre-paid Order Pickup: Students have the option to select the pickup option for online orders on the Bookstore website. You will receive an email once your order is ready for pickup, prompting you to come to the Bookstore. Please follow all emailed instructions carefully to minimize wait times and practice social distancing.
Buy your books online

Textbook buyback cancelled for September
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Bookstore has cancelled the September textbook buyback dates. We apologize for this change, but are hopeful the textbook program can resume in Spring 2021.
When available, the textbook buyback program at the Bookstore pays 55% of the new price of your book if the textbook is being used in the upcoming term. Books not being used may be purchased at a wholesale rate and shipped to the U.S.
Prices for these books vary from 10-30% of the new price. Check the booklist closer to the start of each term to see whether your book has been chosen by Capilano University faculty for use again.
