Strong financial management, growth in our international student enrolment, a number of programs running at full-capacity, and cost-savings related to previous budget decisions have combined to positively influence our current financial position.
The Senate Budget Advisory Committee will review the draft budget at its January 31 and February 28 meetings. The Capilano University Board of Governors will subsequently review the draft budget in February and the final draft budget at its meeting on March 14, 2017.
Funding priorities followed the guiding principles of the two strategic goals for 2017: building our operational capacity and growing the number of students attending Capilano University.
Over the next several months, budget updates are scheduled for:
- early February
- mid-February
- mid-March
