Yes! We encourage all interested current CapU students (domestic and international) to explore studying abroad in one of 20+ destinations around the world and apply online by September 30, 2020.
At present, we are conducting online interviews via MS Teams. For deadlines, see Full-Term Exchange. Please note that final decisions on study abroad program acceptances will be affected by any future Global Affairs Canada restrictions with respect to COVID-19.
I understand that I need to pay the $375 study abroad non-refundable fee in order to accept my nomination. If the current situation with COVID-19 continues into Spring and/or Summer 2021, will this fee be refunded to me?
Yes. Normally, the $375 study abroad fee is an administrative fee and is non-refundable, as stated in your study abroad nomination acceptance letter. However, due to the current exceptional circumstances, if you are unable to depart in the Spring or Summer 2021 terms as a result of COVID-19, this fee will be refunded to you in full.
The Disney International Program (DIP) 2020 has been cancelled. Currently, we are looking at a possibility of deferring the program to the January 2021 or February 2021 start, depending on students’ availability and COVID-19 response and travel safety restrictions. While University California Riverside confirmed deferring all accepted 2020 participants to the next possible DIP intake, Disney will also need to confirm whether or not a new application and interview will be required for the positions originally confirmed. You can expect to receive more details on this directly from firstname.lastname@example.org.
