Sociology has been part of CapU since its founding in 1968, and for the first time, you can gain the first credential we’ve ever offered in this vital subject with the Minor in Sociology.
Graduates from sociology programs are well-equipped to start careers in law, business, education, social work and more.
You can take a mix of sociology and criminology courses, giving you the opportunity to tackle subjects including concepts and theories of society, social and global issues, the role of media in society, consumer culture, law, inequality and justice.
You’ll develop and refine your skills in multicultural awareness, critical thinking and expressing ideas clearly. You’ll also take part in experiential learning opportunities and community-based research projects.
