Bio
Carolyn Neapole (BMT, Capilano University, 2005) began her career as a performer, singer and songwriter using voice, piano and guitar during which she released three albums. She shifted direction to music therapy because she could help people make a difference in their lives using music.
Neapole has worked primarily with adults in mental health in a variety of clinical settings for over a decade. She also maintains a private practice where she uses music, music therapy and vocal psychotherapy to help her clients achieve their goals.
I teach Voice Private Music Instruction in the Bachelor of Music Therapy program, where I assist third and fourth year students in using their voice as a tool in therapy. I bring a wealth of clinical experience, continuing education and perspectives to my teaching approach.
Students appreciate my musicianship strength, my clinical experience and wisdom, and my supportive manner.
