Bio
Johnson Chuang (M.Sc., Simon Fraser University, 2009) is a visual effects artist working in Vancouver. He specializes in effects (FX) and 3D camera tracking (matchmove). He has worked at Image Engine, Method Studios and Digital Domain 3.0. He is credited in movies such as Skyscraper, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Civil War, The Maze Runner and Elysium.
Prior to working in the visual effects industry, Chuang studied computer science at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia. He specialized in computer graphics, visualization, algorithms and data structures.
I enjoy finding new ways to teach important concepts from visual effects and computer science. I have taught students from all levels, from high school to university.
