Following the 30-minute screening of Safe Haven: The Rainbow-Jordan Wilderness, join Valhalla Wilderness Society biologist and campaigner Amber Peters for an insightful presentation. Amber will share breathtaking photography from over eight years of expeditions in the region, offering a deeper look at the significance of this incredible landscape.

The Rainbow-Jordan Wilderness park proposal aims to safeguard the Inland Temperate Rainforest near Revelstoke, BC—one of the world's most ecologically significant and untouched ecosystems. Since 2017, the Valhalla Wilderness Society has been documenting this region's rich biodiversity, uncovering previously unknown natural wonders.

After two years of filming in the proposal’s ancient forest, Safe Haven is a call to action for British Columbians to support the campaign and protect one of the world’s richest remaining temperate rainforest ecosystems.

This is a free event open for all ages. If you have any questions, please connect with EarthWorks Coordinators Cheryl Schreader cschreader@capilanou.ca and Nancy van Groll nancyvangroll@capilanou.ca
