Cap Creative Writing instructor Ryan Knighton talks at NASA
Screenwriter, memoirist, and travel writer Ryan Knighton has been invited to the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre in Greenbelt, Maryland where he'll deliver a keynote at Goddard's Exploring Leadership Colloquium.
The colloquium focus this year is on the organizational values of authenticity, courage and inclusivity, and encouraging transformational conversations. Ryan's talk is entitled, "Nothing to See Here: Some Thoughts on Blindness and Diversity."
The Goddard Space Flight Centre is home to the largest organization of combined scientists, engineers and technologists in the U.S. They build spacecraft, instruments, and new technology to study the Earth, the sun, our solar system, and the universe. After his talk on April 18, Ryan will autograph copies of his acclaimed book, Cockeyed, enjoy lunch with his hosts, and then be escorted on a VIP, behind the scenes tour of Goddard.
