A course for students who plan careers in science. A brief review of stoichiometry, nomenclature and the gaseous state; atomic structure; periodic trends; chemical bonding and molecular structure; an introduction to organic chemistry and intermolecular forces.
Prerequisites: Chemistry 12 or CHEM 101 or BCHM 054 with a minimum C+ grade; Math 12 or Pre-calculus 12
Notes:
- CHEM 110 is an approved Quantitative/Analytical course for baccalaureate degrees. CHEM 110 is an approved Science course. CHEM 110 is an approved Lab Science course.
- Students having prerequisites that are more than three years old should consider taking CHEM 101.
