ChatLive is a series of informal discussions where CapU students explore relevant subjects with CapU instructors.

Students who attend a minimum of three days will earn a notation on their transcript.

About Alana Gerecke

An artist-scholar with over 15 years of experience teaching performance-based inquiry at the post-secondary level, Alana Gerecke is an instructor in the English Department at Capilano University. She is also a former Trudeau Scholar, Banting Postdoctoral Fellow and Shadbolt Fellow.

Her explorations of the spatial politics of urban choreographies span academic research and artistic practice, grounding her performance-making, writing and teaching.
