This course studies selected works of Canadian literature in any genre(s) that are important for their artistic, cultural, and/or historical content and contexts. Depending on the term, iterations of the course may focus on specific approaches, critical issues, and/or literary periods. Sample course titles: Canadian Ecocritical Literature, Postcolonial and Decolonial Literatures in Canada, Canadian Literary Urban Fiction, the Canadian Graphic Novel.
Prerequisites: 45 credits of 100-level or higher coursework including 6 credits of 100 or 200-level ENGL
