This course will focus on a specific topic in postcolonial, transnational, diasporic, or global Indigenous literature and poetics. Students will explore how writers around the world have recrafted their art in response to the forces that have shaped our global society. Readings may include both historical and contemporary works as well as texts in translation.
Prerequisites: 45 credits of 100-level or higher coursework including 6 credits of 100 or 200-level ENGL
