A study of the various models and perspectives for viewing patterns and treatment of psychopathology. The course will examine research about how the medical model and the behaviourist, humanist, psychoanalytic, cognitive and biological schools in psychology view this topic. This course will also focus on the historical and contemporary approaches to treatment.
Prerequisites: PSYC 100 or PSYC 101
