A diverse ensemble of acclaimed musicians from Iran, South India, Taiwan, and North America come together to blend the rich sounds of Persian and Indian classical music with elements of Chinese music and a touch of North American jazz.
Featuring Persian ney player Amir Eslami, Carnatic musicians Vidyasagar Vankayala (voice) and Curtis Andrews (mridangam), jazz guitarist Jared Burrows, and members of the adventurous Orchid Ensemble (Lan Tung-erhu, Dailin Hsieh-zheng, Jonathan Bernard-percussion), their performances feature both original compositions and innovative arrangements of traditional pieces from their diverse cultural backgrounds, promising an enthralling and captivating musical experience. With dancers Chengxin Wei, Fereshteh Zakery and Ashvini Sundaram the show will also be a visual extravaganza!
