From Shirley Mier’s "Deep Freeze," a modern composition that evokes a frozen world by immersing the audience in icy textures and chilling harmonies, to Modest Mussorgsky’s "Pictures at an Exhibition," an iconic work of Russian Romanticism, in which the paintings of an art gallery are brought to life, to Ralph Vaughan Williams’ "English Folk Song Suite," a tuneful tour through the early 20th century English countryside, you’ll feel like you’ve been on a journey without leaving your seat.
