Capilano University expands program offerings at its Squamish campus for January 2025 

In Spring 2025 CapU will add three additional programs to the course offerings at its new campus in Squamish. The University’s new Squamish campus will open and welcome students in September 2024.

Capilano University signs five-year contract to deliver language and settlement services for newcomers in the Sea-to-Sky region and on the Sunshine Coast

CapU is the new recognized provider of language support and settlement services in Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, Lillooet, Sechelt, Gibsons and Powell River. The BC Newcomer Services program assists newcomers to Canada with information to settle into daily life in their new community.

Capilano University announces new certificate in financial planning for finance professionals

Capilano University announce a new Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Financial Planning—Professional beginning in Fall 2024. The part-time, five course program is designed for people who work in financial services, have a degree and want to advance their financial advising career with a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) designation.

Capilano University welcomes new cohort of filmmakers to Business Affairs program for Indigenous film producers

Capilano University is welcoming a new cohort of students to the university’s Filmmakers in Indigenous Leadership and Management Business Affairs (FILMBA) course. The unique, Indigenous-led course aims to equip Indigenous film producers with business management skills to confidently navigate the film industry and succeed at managing the business aspects of running a film production company.
