This is a workshop course for intermediate students. It focuses on the theory and practice of improvisational acting. After an introduction to the fundamental principles of narrative structure and spontaneity, the student explores masks and improvisation as a tool to develop scripted theatre.
Course Notes
For Acting for Stage and Screen and Musical Theatre program students only. ACTR 101 is equivalent to THTR 131. Duplicate credit will not be granted for this course and THTR 131.
