This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of chemistry including the concepts of nomenclature, stoichiometry, states of matter, chemical bonding, thermochemistry, equilibria, and nuclear science.
Prerequisites
One of the following: Chemistry 11, CHEM 030, CHEM 130, or BCHM 044; and one of Foundations of Math 11, Pre-calculus 11, Pre-calculus 12, BMTH 054, MATH 097, Math Placement Test (Precalculus MPT), or MATH 105 (as a pre- or corequisite)
