This course will apply contemporary principles of strategic marketing to event management. Students will develop depth of knowledge in event curation, planning, design, marketing, human and financial resource management, sponsorship, risk management and program evaluation. As an experiential learning experience, students will develop an event based on real world constraints.

BMKT 203 or BMKT 161
