In a professional studio setting, students learn hands-on the techniques and procedures utilized in an industry costume department. The course is focusing on taking measurements, interpreting measurements to draft a pattern, and analyzing the correlation between standard body measurements and individual body measurements to draw conclusions that enable the students to draft and alter a pattern to fit an individual.
